No, I haven't seen any pumas (mountain lions) but they have eaten all the coatis (pizote) and dogs are disappearing. Climate change is impacting Monteverde.
Another thing I learned during yoga in a torrential rainstorm on Monday: People know what to say and do if your dog gets eaten by a puma, but when your child dies they are speechless.
