Liana had her first day at summer camp

Liana had her first day at summer camp at the CEC, Cloud Forest School. She was there from 8-12 and did fine on her own, although I stayed around and checked in a couple times. She says she wants to go on her own tomorrow. Today she made paper, collecting flowers to add, played in her future preschool classroom, painted birds, made a collage and made some sort of blob out of clay.

I spent some time up at Lev's memorial in the forest while she was busy. You can see in the photo I added a circle of branches around the tree we had planted. And bathroom have been built nearby so that students can hang out there longer and maybe do a camp out on the woods.

We came home and tutored a friend's kid, and when I went to evening yoga Liana and Tony made a carrot cake for her baby doll's birthday.
